This was a weird read. Loved the characters, but there was a lot of classist bullshit woven into the whole thing. I think single moms giving their daughters a list of warning signs in men is a universal tradition, but I don't think one of those signs is dropping out of college. It took me over half the book to even become slightly interested in the story, but I felt like I was forcing myself to finish it.
