More About The Amber Spyglass
All the history of human life has been a struggle between wisdom and stupidity. Philip Pullman, The Amber Spyglass We shouldn't live as if [other worlds] mattered more than this life in this world, because where we are is always the most important place. Philip Pullman, The Amber Spyglass ...But it gradually seemed to me that I'd made myself believe something that wasn't true. I'd made myself believe that I was fine and happy and fulfilled on my own without the love of anyone else. This philosophy... This review contains crude language, because I'm too pissed off to be eloquent at the moment. Reader beware. What the fuck did I just read? Seriously! What in the hell was that supposed to be?Spoilers ect ect ect. Everything I loved about the first book is completely gone, the author seems to have forgotten that he's telling a story...
