I just finished reading this book earlier today and it was such a great story. My dad and grandpa were both military men so it has always been something I have admired and respected. While it is hard to think about and even talk about, it is a fact that many of our soldiers don't get to come home and they leave behind husbands, wives,... Overall, a fine debut of a series. My only problem is that I specifically looked up the keywords for this book before I bought it & it did not classify itself as a Christian book, yet it is. I just wish the publisher would have been more honest, I probably would have still bought it, but I would have been prepared for the many Christian...
