The information about the existing (in 2011) conflict in Afghanistan, the relationship the country has with its' neighbors and the place that has in the world stage is interesting! Sadly, not much has changed in the 10 years since the book was published (not much good at least).Understanding the history of the people, the governments... Fascinating. I could not put this book down and would consider it a must read for anyone who has an interest as to the rise of the Taliban and the consequences of the actions of the super powers.
