I really didn't like this book. The main character was unlikable in a variety of ways. I found him so unappealing that when (view spoiler)[he discovered his wife was a zombie (hide spoiler)] I literally didn't care at all. The classism was awful too and began to sound more like a projection of the authors feelings when it was repeated... Hard to killI really liked this one. Set in a small community for the most part you get a different perspective on how zombies might be. A well thought out storyline that has a conclusion and still you can look forward to more in the series. A good read for any zombie lover. Not badI wasn't all that impressed with the story at first. Then I started to think about how it was written. It really does read like some guy simply rambling about what he's been through. Rob is no one special, just a regular guy who ends up having a rather bad few days. He's far from an action hero, but he does come across as a guy...
